Songwriters and Producers Zed Brookes (Auckland) and Andrew Johnstone (Cambridge) have been busy.

Since joining forces in 2016, they have produced a single for Fix, an EP for Yuko 3 and released an album of original material called L.O.V.E. ( March 2018).

Since then they have concentrated on their songwriting. It got a little out of hand and with sixty new songs lying about the studio, something had to be done

It was Brookes who suggested they clear the backlog by releasing a series of A and B side singles. Here is the first of them:

'Take A Deep Breath' was written and recorded one afternoon in early September 2018 during a break from mixing. Brookes went to the drums, Johnstone to the bass. Sometimes a song evolves over weeks, sometime it spills into life fully formed, like this one did.
